First ever men’s snowboarding Gold medalist Ross Rebagliati speaks about his passion for cannabis

Ross Rebagliati steps inside the Vault to discuss how cannabis played a role in his first-ever Gold Medal, won at the Olympic Men’s Giant Slalom snowboarding competition in Japan in 1998.

Following his victory, Ross was immediately jailed, temporarily losing his medal while facing international drug charges. Thankfully, Rebagliati was quickly released, but the negative stigma surrounding his cannabis usage didn’t go away, costing him sponsorship deals & career opportunities.

Thankfully, the negative stigma surrounding cannabis is quickly diminishing, and Rebagliati is now a successful entrepreneur within the space.
