Assistant General Counsel & Director of regulatory Compliance
Abdul Mohamed joined Revolution Enterprises as its Illinois operations came online in 2015. Abdul joined Revolution because of its commitment to health care justice and community service around the issue of cannabis reform. He currently serves as Revolution’s Assistant General Counsel & Director of Regulatory Compliance. Abdul provides regulatory guidance to Revolution’s facilities in Illinois, Maryland, and Florida and is on the team that is leading its commercial transactions and national expansion efforts.
Abdul is admitted to the State Bars of Illinois and Missouri. Prior to joining Revolution, Abdul was a litigator representing individuals and businesses in civil and criminal matters. Abdul is committed to community service and prior to joining the Missouri Bar, he clerked with the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and served as a Florida Bar Foundation Summer Fellow.
Abdul earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Iowa and Juris Doctorate with a Health Law Concentration from Saint Louis University School of Law’s Center for Health Law Studies.
In his spare time, Abdul enjoys riding his bike on Chicago’s trails, attending outdoor community events in the City’s great parks, and volunteering in his neighborhood.
